INGREDIENTS
  

  • 1 cup Raw Peanuts: unsalted, redskin
  • 3 cups Water
  • 2 cups Milk: coconut milk, cow's milk or any plant-based milk.
  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk or sugar: sweeten to taste
  • Pinch of Salt: to balance the sweetness
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg or freshly grated
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • In a blender, combine peanuts, oats, milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla. Blend until smooth or slightly textured, depending on your preference.
  • In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil over medium heat.
  • Pour the blended mixture into the boiling water, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
  • Whisk for 5-6 minutes, until the porridge thickens and bubbles slowly.
  • Add quarter​​ to half cup of milk or water to reach your desired consistency, stirring well.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add condensed milk or sugar to taste.
  • Serve warm and enjoy! 🥜

NOTES

  • Use flour instead of oats for a smoother texture.
  • You can use canned or fresh coconut milk. Alternatively, substitute with cow's milk or any plant-based milk of your choice.
  • Replace condensed milk with brown or white sugar, or use both for extra sweetness.
